Well, I rolled out of bed at 5:10 AM, realized I wasn't going
to make it to the designated meeting location in time, and went
out to my complex's parking lot to look for it. I was just
getting ready to throw in the towel (figuratively speaking)
when I saw another fellow (turned out to be one of the many
Qualcomm employees at my complex) standing in the middle of the lot,
staring at the sky. He pointed it out to me, whizzing across
the middle of the southern half of the sky.
Wasn't as big as I had hoped, but it was certainly a worthwhile
experience. The tether must have drooped to half-mast over the
previous 24-hours. One can only hypothesize about
what may have caused THAT state of affairs.
So how was it from EBU? Was the turnout good?
And those green alien lights are still lurking, unsolved. Or did you
guys delve deeper into the unknown mysteries across the 5?
