I read that COX cable is testing these in a few cities. And didn't
Motorola start mass production on the modems already?

I was actually thinking of being an RA to have ethernet access during the
year. Not to mention free housing and food (beer?) money. Though, the thought
of dealing with other people's problems is kinda scary. Is it worth it? Hmmm..
Depends on how badly you need your speed fix.

Luckily, a friend of mine has the oppertunity to be an RA so if she get's in
Matthew Apts. she has graciously agreed to let me keep my computer there ;-)

Then I could have the ISDN all to myself at home.

BTW, my offer still stands if anyone is looking for a room next year. I have
a spare room that I would like to rent out. For a small fee, you can hook
your computer up to the local net and enjoy ISDN. Contact me for info.
